You are planning an outing of a few days, during which sport, the outdoors and a bit of beach will be there. But does the idea of bringing appropriate towels for all your activities make you dizzy? The Quebec company Archimhead has created a towel that could be a solution for you.
The Archimhead towel was designed here to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts. Its main characteristic is to be reversible, absorbent on one side, waterproof on the other. It therefore offers an ingenious combination between the sports towel and the beach or picnic canvas. Its absorbent side is made of a high-end fabric composed of suede microfiber (80% polyester and 20% polyamide). It is soft, antibacterial and dries quickly. Its waterproof side is made of 100% polyester. The surface is smooth, so the sand does not stick to it. It has strong Velcro closures on the four corners, which allows you to store certain objects in it, otherwise fill the pockets with sand or a weight to keep the towel on the ground, proof against gusts of wind. .
The Archimhead towel is easy to care for. It can be machine washed and dried. It is light and compact, sold with a transport bag made of the same materials. It is available in one color (Caribbean blue) and two sizes.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product, but also by its thickness, which gives it other functions than that of a simple towel, including the possibility of making an extra blanket for camping (when it dries , of course).
The waterproof side really is. Its velcro closures at the four corners are a very good asset, and we welcome the fact that the transport bag is also waterproof. The absorbent side is also effective. While we are not a fan of chamois-like towels on wet skin, they dry faster than regular towels, this one being no exception.
It is above all the combination of the two sides that makes the Archimhead towel a unique and well thought out product. Its aesthetic, very useful, may be to review. Conditionally with a greater choice of colors and patterns, as well as lower delivery costs, we see great potential for this Quebec product.
The small towel (80 cm by 150 cm) is sold for $ 34.79.
The large towel (115 cm by 200 cm) is sold for $ 60.88. (Taxes and delivery charges)
